Experimental SVG icons. All 128x128. It's of course far from complete.

The aim of this experiment is to see how feasible it is to generate different icon styles programatically, and also how well renderers deal with SVG (sadly, not very well so far: these icons all use SVG filters, and different softwares don't always agree how to render them).

Icons are mostly Linux distro logos, so it's not going to be hugely useful per se, but I'd like to have some feed back on the styling and software compatibility if possible.

Zip file currently contains 4 (arbitrary) styles of icons (47 each). They are intended to demonstrate the SVG filters in effect, and new styles can be created easily. The chance of directly using these icons in your OS is slim, because the rendering of SVG filters can vary a great deal across different programs. Screenshot was from Firefox, which I found to be the most consistent in rendering filters.

Since the icons are sort of program output, they are hereby released under GPL v2.1.
